Lakilanni UR Feels Like Rain "Elena" (ASFA FCh, AKC SC) Ahh, the black beauty! This poor girl had a rough beginning to her life; she has been poked and prodded by more veterinarians than she would care to admit. We almost thought we were going to lose her to either a genetic kidney or bladder disorder. Further testing showed that she has a clean bill of health and can she run! Elena earned her ASFA certification October 20, 2007 in Moreland, GA and ran her first open course with her littermate, Tatiana, on October 21. We look for great things from her once she grows into her body!
February 10-11, 2008, Brooksville, FL. Elena needed only 12 points to finish her Field Championship. Luckily she found some greyhound competition in Florida and finished with 17 points! Congratulations to Uma Rapiti's newest Field Champion! Way to go, Elena!
December 8-9, Tallahassee, FL. Elena, received a Best of Breed on Sunday; this girl only needs a few more points to earn her FCh since she already has all her placements! December 15-16, Camden, SC; Elena earns her JC!
This girl just keeps on running. October 27-28 in Yalaha, Elena gets her very first, "First". The following weekend in Brooksville, FL, Elena takes first place in Saturday's Greyhound open and Best of Breed on Sunday! In a word, Elena is simply AMAZING!
